Tuatapere Motel Accommodation in Southland
The motels consists of four units which are all self-contained with their own bathroom and kitchen. Each unit has two bedrooms, one room has a double bed and the other has two single beds. The lounge is comfortable with Sky TV. Tuatapere motels offer a clean, relaxed environment to stay in. Great decking out the front and smokefree rooms are ideal for families.
Grounds are well landscaped and maintained with grass and stone areas. There is a picnic table outside for you to enjoy the sunshine. Out the back of the motels is a playground for the children. A laundry with washing machines and dryers is also available. Parking is close, right outside your motel unit.
Opposite the motels is a Four Square supermarket which is open 7 days a week. Beside the supermarket is Highway 99 Café/Bar, which provides great bar meals, and also has a big screen for live sporting events.
Tuatapere Backpackers is close by with a spa and sauna available for hire. Lockers are also available.

Shooters Backpackers and Holiday Park Accommodation
Shooters Backpackers was built in 2004 it is a two-storey building with modern facilities. It is capable of sleeping up to 60 people at anytime. Downstairs there is a communal kitchen with cutlery and cooking utensils supplied. Showers, toilets and laundry are all downstairs. Laundry has washer and dryers available to use. We have a lovely big log fire to keep the place warm in the winter months.
Upstairs there is a communal lounge with table tennis, darts, TV, DVD player and internet available. There is a decking area for you to sit and enjoy the sunshine. Head outdoors to our animal park, or for a round of mini golf. Our grounds are well maintained and pathed with a playground for the young ones. A spa and sauna is also available for hire.
We have power and non-power sites for campervans. There is tenting sites available too. With any of these options you also get the use of the wonderful backpackers facilities included in the cost, as is the use of the dump station for the campervans. Lockers are available for valuable items.
We are situated right on the main street of Tuatapere on the main Southern Scenic Route. We have motels right beside us. The Four Square supermarket is straight across the road,which is open 7 days a week. There is also Highway 99 Café/Bar beside the Four Square. Everything you need is right here.
